How to get there
Thai Airways International offers twice-daily flights to Chiang Mai (Bangkok - Chiang Mai - Mae Hong Son, flight time of around 2.5 hours). There is a direct, 30-minute flight from Chiang Mai. Those arriving by train should alight at Chiang Mai and continue travel by plane or bus to Mae Hong Son.
